Marching Band
Band is a class that meets during first hour. August through October we function as the LHS Marching band aka Blue Jay Pride and Guard. This is a non auditioned group that gets to perform at all our football games and competes at several fall competitions. It is required for students to participate in marching band if they are in the band class.

Band Camp tentatively:
July 22 - 26 2024, 8 am - 5 pm @ LHS
July 29 - Aug 2, 8 am - 12 pm @ LHS

Concert Band
Concert band meets during first hour from November - May with all students 9-12 grade. We get to perform several concerts throughout the year and learn several engaging and artistic pieces of music.

Extra Opportunities
There are so many extra opportunities for students to perform and compete (if they want to). We have All District and All State Band, Jazz Ensemble, Brass & Woodwind Choirs, Drumline, Solo & Ensemble, Pit Orchestra for the Musical and so much more.
