Wind Symphony
is our top audition concert band.  It is made up of 9-12 grade students and it meets after marching season for the remainder of the school year.  They will be performing at the Missouri Music Educators' Association Conference in January 19. This ensemble has most recently has shared a stage with The University of Kansas Wind Ensemble, The UMKC Conservatory Wind Ensemble, and The Northwest Missouri State Wind Symphony.  They have also performed on the stage of Kauffman Center.

Symphonic Band

is another one of our performing ensembles that meets after marching season.  This group is made up of 9-12 graders in a classic, full-band setting that performs regular concerts.  This ensemble has most recently shared the stage with The UMKC Conservatory Wind Ensemble.

Blue Jay Pride And Guard

is our marching band.  This ensemble is made up of students 9-12.  It includes all band students at the high school level.  The Blue Jay Pride and Guard performs pregame and halftime shows at home football games.  This ensemble also performs at all pep rallies and marching competitions.

Jazz Ensemble

is our audition jazz band at the high school level.  This ensemble meets Monday and Thursday mornings before school.  They perform in a variety of settings including competitive festivals, local lunch concerts, and at our annual Jazz and Java event.
